APS employees

The APSC collects workforce information in a number of different ways to provide a full picture of the APS workforce.

The Australian Public Service (APS) Remuneration Report 2019 presents a summary of remuneration paid to APS employees under the Public Service Act 1999 as at 31 December 2019. The report provides APS agencies with data that informs their remuneration practices.

The Australian Public Service (APS) Remuneration Report 2017 presents a summary of remuneration paid to APS employees under the Public Service Act 1999 as at 31 December 2017. The report provides APS agencies data that informs their remuneration practices.

A census of Australian Public Service (APS) employee remuneration is conducted annually. The census provides participating APS agencies with agency-specific and APS-wide data that informs their remuneration practices. The APS-wide data is also made publicly available via this site.

The APS Remuneration Report is an annual snapshot of remuneration across the whole Australian Public Service (APS). This edition of the report is based on a snapshot of data collected as at 31 December 2015.
