I am delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Justine Greig PSM as the new Head of the APS HR Profession.
Justine's extensive expertise in human resources, capability building and organisational performance, together with her commitment to advancing the APS workforce, makes her well suited to this role. As Head of the APS HR Profession, Justine will play a vital role in strengthening strategic HR capability, professional standards and workforce outcomes across the APS.
This is an important time for the profession. Strong, consistent and contemporary HR practices are critical to building workforce capability and supporting a high-performing APS. Justine will foster collaboration across the APS, advance professional development opportunities and help shape the future of the profession.
Having served as the inaugural Head of the APS HR Profession since 2019, I am confident that the profession will continue to thrive under Justine’s leadership.
I would also like to acknowledge Meghan Quinn PSM, Secretary of the Department of Defence, for supporting Justine taking carriage of the role.
