Did you know the APSC Centre for Leadership and Learning offers an APS Graduate Development Program (GDP)? During the 10-month program, graduates are supported to develop the skills, capabilities and experience to work effectively in the APS through participation in a range of activities, including workshops, simulations, coaching and a work based project.
In 2018, graduates from 13 APS agencies are participating in the program - establishing cross-agency networks and gaining invaluable knowledge about the APS work environment.
The GDP also provides a pathway to further study through ANU Crawford School of Public Policy, University of Canberra and CPA Australia.
The GDP is designed to complement in-agency graduate development initiatives. To be eligible for the GDP, participants must have a graduate position within the APS and be enrolled in the program by their employing agency.
For further information on how your Agency Graduates can participate in the 2019 GDP, contact the team via apscgdp [at] apsc.gov.au (email) or visit the website.
