Regular training sessions are underway ahead of the annual APS NAIDOC Week touch football competition on Wednesday 11 July 2018.
The annual touch football event has become a popular NAIDOC Week celebration in Canberra, recognising diversity and promoting respect amongst Indigenous and non-Indigenous APS employees.
The tournament is hosted through a partnership between a number of APS agencies. Last year, thirty APS agencies participated and this year’s event continues to grow incorporating family friendly activities to welcome the Canberra community during the school holiday period.
