Through Australia’s representation on the Public Governance Committee of the OECD, feedback is being sought on the OECD’s draft Declaration on Public Sector Innovation.
The declaration presents a set of general principles that governments and organisations can use to affirm the importance of innovation in the public sector and to help develop, refine and diversify strategies to support innovation activity.
Public consultation is taking place via an online platform and anyone can contribute. This is an opportunity for you to shape the principles, ensure they reflect our views and are relevant to the Australian context. The consultation is structured to allow you to:
- Rank each component of the Declaration in terms of its importance to you
- Provide as much, or as little, feedback as you want on each section
- Navigate to the components you want to give feedback on, and skip the ones you don’t.
The online platform is open until 22 February 2019.
