Nominations for the 2018 Australian Public Service Diversity and Gender Equality Awards are now open!
The Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions to workplace diversity and inclusion across the APS. In 2018, awards will be presented across four categories:
- Individual award recognising an APS employee who champions diversity and equality of opportunity, and who have shown vision and leadership resulting in genuine cultural change
- Department / Agency award recognising a department or agency that has improved employment opportunities and outcomes for employees with disability, LGBTI employees, Indigenous employees, and employees from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Network award recognising the achievements of an internal or cross-agency employee network that is advancing diversity and inclusion in the APS
- Gender equality award recognising an APS employee, a department or agency, or an employee network that is making significant progress to addressing gender inequality in the APS.
