Monitoring and audit roles plan, develop and implement reviews of organisational, program or project performance. This group also includes roles that undertake risk analysis, management and fraud control for an organisation.

Audit Audit Coordination 190101 Audit Coordinators are responsible for overseeing internal operating controls, processes and practices. They may also recommend changes and enhancements to existing policies and controls to make sure they are current, adequate, functional and utilised in accordance with standards established by the government and the company. Some audit coordinators will manage a team of junior auditors or accountants, reviewing their works and providing guidance.
External Audit 190102 External Auditors inspect clients’ operations and processes and express an unbiased and independent opinion as to whether they comply with the standards of the entity. This includes managing, interpreting, analysing and evaluating audit evidence to develop and provide recommendations to resolve weaknesses in controls and assist the achievement of outcomes.
Internal Audit 190104 Internal Auditors inspect clients’ operations and processes and express an unbiased and independent opinion as to whether they comply with the standards of the entity. This includes managing, interpreting, analysing and evaluating audit evidence to develop and provide recommendations to resolve weaknesses in controls and assist the achievement of outcomes.
Quality Assurance 190106 Quality assurance professionals inform the review, development and performance of audit procedures and reporting, focusing on financial and operational processes, by monitoring compliance, discovering trends, and finding better ways to do audit work.
Risk Fraud Control and Corruption Prevention 190201 Fraud control and corruption professionals develop, manage and update policies and procedures that protect against, detect and respond to fraud and corruption in order to protect the interests of clients, workers and other stakeholders. They escalate instances of non-compliance and assist investigators to address and resolve cases.
Integrity Assurance 190207 Integrity assurance professionals are responsible for undertaking administrative inquiries into suspected breaches of internal rules and regulations and, as required, undertaking investigations to a criminal standard of proof with a view to securing successful prosecution outcomes. They provide advice and reporting to support the management of integrity and misconduct issues concerning employees.
Issues Management 190202 Issues management professionals identify, assess, and prioritise current issues allowing a coordinated and economical application of resources to minimise, monitor and control the probability or impact of the identified risks. They also evaluate the effectiveness of issue controls in place. 
Organisation Suitability and Vetting 190208 Organisation suitability and vetting professionals develop and manage organisation suitability policies and vetting processes which could include: police checks, background checks, security clearances, drug or alcohol testing, second jobs, social media, conflict of interest, associations, or compliance with organisational values.
Privacy Impact Assessment 190203 Privacy impact professionals identify when to use a privacy impact assessment to understand and address how a project can have an impact on individuals’ privacy. They make recommendations for managing, minimising or eliminating privacy impacts.
Risk Analysis 190204 Risk analysis professionals develop and manage the risk management framework, supporting business and ensuring risk strategies are appropriate based on the organisations risk appetite and business goals.
Risk Management 190205 Risk management professionals forecast, identify, assess and prioritise risks, allowing a coordinated and economical application of resources to minimise, monitor and control the probability or impact of the identified risks. They also evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls.
