Kristy leads the Corporate Applications Branch, responsible for shaping, transforming and delivering user-centric, high quality and efficient change, integration and support services for the corporate and enabling systems that underpin much of the work that ATO staff do. This includes:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Client Contact (e.g. IVR, Webchat & Co-browse, Voice Biometric and Virtual Assistant)
  • Case & Work Management
  • Centralised Audit Logging
  • 120+ Small Systems and 60+ Tools and Calculators.

She holds an MBA (Executive) from the Australian Graduate School of Management and B.Psychology (Hons and Medal) from the University of Sydney.


Yaso Arumugam

Assistant Secretary, ICTDD Delivery Division
Department of Defence

Established and lead the Major Program Delivery Branch to govern and deliver ICT capability in the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Mobility Programs, enable Enterprise Service Integration and Cross Domain capability and deliver projects to meet operational and organisational requirements. Travel and Expense Management Solution to address FPR an Red Tape recommendations, a Pilot Post in Post Out system are the other initiatives in the branch. Also established and lead the Fast Path Directorate to streamline the delivery of ICT by delivering Proof of Concepts, Pilots and minor projects with a delivery cycle of 30 to 60 days. Introducing a DEVOPS capability is also one of the FastPath initiatives.
