Your university transcript or graduation certificate will be used to ensure you have completed the equivalent of an Australian undergraduate degree or higher within the last five years. Grades and time spent studying will not be taken into account.
Please note that you do not need to provide evidence of disability at this stage.
If you are unable to submit your application online, please contact us as soon as possible.

The one page pitch should introduce yourself and talk about your skills, attributes and individual characteristics that will allow you to succeed in a Graduate position within the Australian Public Service (APS). Your pitch should be in line with the APS 3-4 work level standards, and drawn on experience and transferable skills to demonstrate:
- Your motivation to contribute to and deliver the outcomes of the APS

If you need an adjustment to the above process to participate in the application stage, please contact us to let us know.
We will keep asking you about whether you need any adjustments at each stage of the recruitment process.

Applying for GradAccess and NextStep? NextStep is the new entry-level Traineeship program into the Australian Public Service for people with disability.
If you are eligible for GradAccess, you can apply for GradAccess and NextStep at the same time. Simply tick ‘applying for both GradAccess and NextStep’ on your application form.
The GradAccess and NextStep application process is the same, so you will only have to participate in one assessment process for both programs.
