Grad Mentor

This event was held on Wednesday 22 May 2019 at the National Convention Centre, Canberra.

Graduates engaged in three mentoring sessions with APS mentors in various fields of expertise. The purpose is to build graduates' capability through small group discussions with mentors and offer a glimpse into the dynamics of the mentor/mentee relationship.

Grad Mentor offers the opportunity for graduates to form a connection with APS mentors, and potentially build a relationship during the grad year and beyond.

In this short video, event MC and 2018 grad, David speaks about what grads get out of attending Grad Mentor. If you have trouble watching the video, you can read the transcript.

Quotes from 2018 attendees:

'I thank the APSC for organising the event. I was able to talk to one of the mentors to connect and direct me about my future career pathways.'

'The quality of the mentors was excellent. They were all experienced public servants who provided valuable insights. Thank you  APSC for your hard work organising this event!'
