This event will introduce graduates to the APS and each other, and to the importance of managing their own APS careers through collaborating, establishing and building professional networks, and seeking out opportunities.
A keynote presentation from Ms Mary Wiley-Smith, Deputy Commissioner, Australian Public Service Commission will be followed by a panel session. Panellists will highlight successful policy/project implementation, while demonstrating how cross-agency collaboration and networking played a key role in their successes.

- Ms Wiley-Smith will discuss the key role networking and collaboration plays in a rewarding career path. She will also share, with graduates, an update on the Independent Review of the APS.
- Ms Jones will discuss her vital role in the Martin Place siege review while at the Attorney-General’s Department.
- Ms Wright will highlight examples of collaboration which has led to the success of the innovationXchange.
