Digital Transformation Agency to host first life event community meetup

The first Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) life event community meetup will be held on Tuesday 13 November in Canberra.

This will be the first in a series of meetups the DTA’s GovX team will host to explore how we can best design government services around life events, such as having a baby, caring for a loved one or going to university.

The first meetup will focus on how government can collaborate and work as a community to improve services.

Participants will join an interactive session to discuss the life event journey mapping process, identifying issues they would like to solve and challenges they currently face. Participants will also consider where their home agency may fit into this process.

We hope to gain insights into how departments and agencies can collaborate using life event research and journey maps. The DTA has a number of life events mapped out and will invite agencies to share similar work.

Come along to talk with fellow APS staff about the importance of communities and cross collaboration work in government and hear examples of the service community work already underway by the UK Government.

Peter Bradd, Chief Executive Officer of the Beanstalk Factory, will present on collaboration and culture, drawing on his experience creating Australia's first co-working community, Fishburners.
