The purpose of this course is to help prepare you to be a strong contributing member of a team working on NPPs. In this program you will gain a deeper understanding into the role of NPP processes, conventions and practices as well as how to better work with the many collaborating agencies that are there to assist you in developing a quality NPP. You will participate in practical activities, as well as hear from guest speakers experienced in working with NPPs.
You will also benefit from the opportunity to meet and share thoughts, experiences and ideas on developing NPPs within your agency.
On completion of this program, you will be able to:
- Identify and clarify Policy intent
- Understand the NPP process and how this aligns with the Cabinet submission, policy and budget cycles
- Identify relevant NPP stakeholders and plan approaches for working with them
- Construct clear and compelling arguments.
