Challenge-based Innovation Forum

Come along to the 2019 Challenge-based Innovation Forum to discover new ways of looking at issues and creating innovative solutions.  

The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science will host the Forum on 27 and 28 February at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra.

Challenge-based innovation is about creating opportunities for businesses, researchers and the Government to work together to solve real-world problems and make a positive impact.

The Forum will bring together leading innovation challenge practitioners and policy makers from Australia and overseas.

At the forum you will:

  • Hear insights from experts on challenge-based innovation programs
  • Network with policy makers, private sector providers and innovative companies
  • Learn through hands-on workshops on challenge-based innovation.

Speakers include Dr Alan Finkel AO, Australia’s Chief Scientist; Dr Sarah Pearson, Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Scientist, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and Ms Zenia Tata, Chief Impact Officer from Xprize, US.
