What is it about?
The world is changing at a rate never seen before. From advancements in technology, to new ways of working and delivering training, almost everything is undergoing frequent and ongoing change.
The 2019 APSwide conference series is all about change. Hear from APS leaders about specific changes on the horizon, including an update on the APS Review. Speakers from outside the APS will also share their perspective on change and speak about local challenges and initiatives.
Explore these and other topics in your choice of interactive workshop. Each one will be practical with takeaways you can apply in your workplace. You’ll also have several opportunities to network with colleagues across the APS throughout the day.
Detailed event programs will be available soon.

The APSwide conference series is supported by the Australian Government Leadership Networks and the NT Com Club in Darwin.
APSwide conferences are held in each state and territory of Australia. To celebrate the range of locations where APS employees can be found, we want to showcase public service diversity with photos of you in your home town.
From the Hobart wharves to Rundle Mall, from Penrith Train Station to the Ross River, we want a photo of you with an icon of your town or city. Remember icons can be big or small, so don’t let your location hold you back!
Print an APSwide or #ourAPS poster to hold up so we know you’re part of our APS! The photos will be shown at all APSwide conferences and the best will be used in upcoming issues of the APS News.
Please note that by participating in this and sending a photo or you or your colleagues, you are agreeing the APSC can use the image at events, on the website, in APS News and on social media.
Email your photo with each person’s name and the name of your team to communication [at] apsc.gov.au. Send them in by 25 July to be featured at all APSwide conferences.
