Information on social media

On 7 August 2019, the full bench of the High Court delivered its judgment in the case Comcare v Banerji. The court unanimously found the actions of the relevant departments in this case were constitutionally valid.

APS employees must at all times behave in a way that upholds the APS Values. The APSC has guidance about the need to act consistently with the APS Values when using social media.
