APS News June 2018

Welcome to the June edition of APS News. We have a bumper edition as we hit the mid-year mark. We invite you to explore the opportunities to get involved in the upcoming initiatives across APS agencies during the coming weeks.

If you’re an Indigenous employee interested in becoming a mentee or mentor, or a non-Indigenous employee who aspires to be a mentor, jump online and apply for the Indigenous mentoring program. If you know someone with disability who may be interested in a new APS trainee program please share the APSC’s NextStep program, which is now open for applications.

This month, we’re also featuring a gamification project, taking place at the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science to build collaboration and engagement amongst staff.

We’re inviting all APS employees to attend the APSwide conference series taking place in all capital cities and Townsville from June.

Finally, don’t forget to have your say in the annual APS Employee Census before it closes on Friday, 8 June. As always, please communication [at] apsc.gov.au (send us) your story ideas for our next edition.
