This release of the Australian Public Service (APS) employment data presents a statistical outline of the APS workforce employed under the Public Service Act 1999. It provides key workforce metrics as at 30 June 2023 and trends from 2003.
The Capability Review program is part of the Government’s enduring plan for APS Reform. Reviews are independent, forward-looking and assess an agency's ability to meet future objectives and challenges.
