Congratulations to the Department of Human Services (DHS) who recently joined the increasing number of APS agencies that have achieved their Indigenous employment targets.
With 5% of DHS staff identifying as Indigenous, the Department focuses on supporting staff through its mentoring and support network and cultural awareness and competency programs.
Underpinned by its 2015-17 Reconciliation Action Plan, DHS has a three year vision of how it will improve opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
