The 2019 APS Employee Census is now complete

The 2019 APS employee census is now complete for another year with a fantastic response rate of 77%, up from 74% in 2018. We’re impressed with agencies’ efforts to boost staff participation and engagement, like the amazing graphics two agencies shared with us. The Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business set up a dragon race and Department of Industry, Innovation and Science created the cutest bunch of gophers ever.

Results will be released to agencies on 19 July. The information from the census is used widely across the APS, and within your agency, to inform strategies, policies and evaluate initiatives. The results also feed into the State of the Service Report which will be published in late November.

For more information about the census, please contact your agency census coordinator, go to the APSC’s APS employee census page, or email stateoftheservice [at] apsc.gov.au (subject: 2019%20APS%20Employee%20Census) .
