Social media and the APS: private lives, public responsibilities.

The Commission provides guidance for agencies and employees on making public comment, setting out their rights and responsibilities - see our guide here

In November 2016, the APSC published a discussion paper and sought feedback on its policy and guidelines for the use of social media by APS employees in their private lives.

The consultation provided an opportunity for employees to tell us what they thought about the policy and if the guidance was clear to them.

We invited APS employees to submit their comments. You can read those comments on our website

For more information about the privacy of information you supply, please refer to the APSC privacy policy.
