Section 3 – Ongoing staff
Figure 10 shows the proportion of men and women, by age group, in 1991 and 2005. In 1991, the 25–29 age group was the most common age group for women; by 2005 this had shifted considerably to the 40- 44 age group. Over the same period, the most common age group for men had shifted much less—from 40–44 years to 45–49 years.
