Leadership across borders—A four country programme

This groundbreaking international leadership initiative, designed for Senior Public Leaders working within a Westminster system, has been created by the Australian Public Service Commission (also representing New Zealand), the Canada School of Public Service and the UK National School of Government.  With week-long modules in Australia, Canada and the UK, the programme will create a unique network of high potential senior leaders covering the two hemispheres.

Key senior executive government programme

The programme has a dual purpose:

  1. to challenge and shape a new generation of public service leaders with the skills and confidence to tackle complex, global, modern problems in new ways,  and

 Programme content

Join a diverse group and high profile Band 2 (equivalent) senior executives from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK as part of Leadership Across Borders programme.

Operating in the real world with live case studies on global issues, such as climate change, border controls, and serving citizens across jurisdictions, participants will be able to compare and contrast exemplary practice across for countries, and gain unique insights into 21st century public service leadership.
