Human Resources Management Development

University of Canberra logo

Raise awareness of current HR Management Development issues within an organisational effectiveness context.

Human Resources Management Development is presented by the Australian Public Service Commission, in association with the University of Canberra.

program overview

The SES and EL levels within the Australian Public Service have important human resource responsibilities. Effective People Management and Human Resource Strategy are intrinsically linked to organisational performance.

The HR Management Development program focuses on building capacity in these critical areas through a series of workshops that can either stand alone or be taken as an integrated whole.

Participant benefits

Integration into University of Canberra studies

Participants can elect to undertake an assessment for each workshop. Successful completion will result in credit at the University of Canberra for a three credit unit at Post Graduate Level that can contribute to further study. A certificate will be awarded to participants for the successful completion of each workshop. An additional certificate will be awarded on successful assessment. Six certificates are required for the awarding of the credit.
