2. Can a person have concurrent employment in the APS?
The legislation does not prevent a person from having more than one concurrent employment arrangement in the APS (eg a part time ongoing employee in one agency may also accept engagement as a part time ongoing or non-ongoing employee in the same or another agency). There are a number of issues that can arise with dual employment.
Any further advice on the policy concerning this issue will be provided to agencies in Commission circulars.
