Diploma of Government (PSP50104)
This unique learning pathway is designed especially to enhance the careers of Australian public servants and is ideally suited to new and developing managers. The Program places a strong emphasis on working effectively in the APS environment and supports performance, growth and career progression. The program will challenge participants to operate in a broader strategic role.
Program overview
The program uses a combination of the following quality Commission training sessions:

- Legislation and APS decision-making
- Upholding and supporting the APS Values and Code of Conduct
- Essential writing for APS 5-6 levels
- Financial management – introduction
- Enrich your representational skills
- Enhancing your performance in the APS
- Stakeholder engagement
- Essentials for new team leaders
- Assess your leadership capabilities
- APS job applications and interview skills
as well as workplace-relevant assignments and challenging simulated activities.
