Indigenous Services Guide
The Indigenous Employment Team, part of the Australian Public Service Commission (the Commission), provides a range of services to support the recruitment, development and career progression of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Australian Public Service.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and graduates career opportunities
The Commission coordinates recruitment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and graduates for career opportunities in a number of Australian Government agencies. By lodging a single application with us you may be considered for employment opportunities in over 20 agencies! 

We are seeking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to work in a variety of fields in the APS from international relations through to the environment. This also includes, but is not limited to, opportunities to work in Indigenous affairs.

Public Calling: APS Indigenous Career Ambassadors
The Public Calling: APS Indigenous Career Ambassadors campaign is about promoting careers in the Australian Public Service (APS) to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The Australian Government is committed to increasing the representation of Indigenous Australians in the APS workforce, both in mainstream and Indigenous areas. The cultural diversity and diverse perspectives that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees bring to their workplaces are greatly valued in the APS.
