88.6 % of APS staff are now covered by new agreements.

Only 8 APS agencies (representing 2.2% of the APS workforce) remain in negotiations. Some of these agencies are newly created and have been bargaining for a short time.

9.2% of APS employees work at the Department of Immigration and Border Protection. Bargaining has ceased in that department and the Fair Work Commission will arbitrate an outcome.

134 enterprise agreements have been voted up in this bargaining round.

52 out of 64 agreements put to a ballot in 2017 have been voted up, including the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, Department of Defence, Department of Human Services and the Australian Taxation Office
