Enhancing public sector leadership
Building and maintaining networks has been identified as one of the core leadership traits of the new century. Networking is about driving your career in the direction you want it to go.
ExecNet is a network designed for and organised by senior public sector staff working in Queensland. It is sponsored and encouraged by the Australian Public Service Commission.
The activities of ExecNet are designed to meet the needs of Executive level or senior staff in the public sector in Queensland. An indicative salary range is $55,000 to $90,000 pa. Membership of the network is free.
Interested senior administrative and professional officers, members of the Senior Executive Service and employees from state and local government agencies are welcome to join the network and to attend ExecNet functions.
There are approximately 550 Executive Level 1 & 2 (and professional and technical equivalent) staff in the Commonwealth public service in Queensland. More than one half of these are already members of ExecNet.
