Outside work
About outside work:
Any employment (whether paid or unpaid) for any employer other than the agency in which the employee is working will generally be called "outside work". Outside work may include a second job for a non-APS employer, volunteer work or work for another APS agency.
It will generally be the case, in order to ensure that there is no conflict of interest and that an APS employee is able to properly perform the duties required of them by their APS employer, that an APS employee will need to seek approval to engage in outside work from their APS employer.
