APS 5/6 - Data Analyst - APS Employment Database - Canberra Reference: 08/37 The Commission maintains the APS Employment Database (APSED) which is the central source of data on APS employment. APSED data provides information on overall APS staffing trends, and is also used to prepare the annual State of the Service report. As a member of a team, you will assist in maintaining APSED and analyse and report on data drawn from it. Other duties include liaison with APS agencies and responding to requests for data on APS employment. |

APS Commission Graduate Development Programme The Graduate Development Programme runs for 11 months and includes an extensive learning and development programme combined with on-the-job training. A key feature of the learning and development programme is the opportunity to complete a Diploma in Government and several electives from the Commission’s public programme learning and development calendar. In addition to undertaking this training graduates have the opportunity to participate in the Commission’s internal learning and development programme. |

APS 5/6 - Events/Learning & Development Coordinator - Regional Services Group - Sydney Reference: 08/35 The Commission is seeking a highly motivated professional Events/Learning & Development Coordinator. The successful individual must create a positive, professional, and highly credible image for the Commission. A key element of the role is provision of a secretariat service to the Forum of Commonwealth Agencies in NSW which consists of Regional Heads of Australian Government agencies based in NSW. |

Non-ongoing employment register
The Australian Public Service Commission manages a non-ongoing employment register.
Employment would be under Section 22 (2) (b) and (c) of the Public Service Act 1999 for a specified term or for the duration of a specified task; or for duties that are irregular or intermittent.
All available opportunities will be based in Canberra

The Australian Public Service Commission (the Commission) is a central agency within the Australian Public Service (APS) with a critical leadership role in contributing to the future capability and sustainability of the APS.
